"Capacity" : How many students Belle Wood takes per lesson

All beginners begin with our "Beginner Learn to Ride Package," which includes 4 Private lessons, learning how to groom & tack up and work safely around the horses with our staff. 

The price for the beginner package is $440.00 plus HST. 

We are located in North Pickering, between Westney and Salem Rds off Hwy 7. 

All our coaches are Certified and Licensed professionals with Equestrian Canada and take pride in our student's growth. 

We are very much a learning hands-on -facility; we encourage our students to participate in monthly development clinics, shows, camps and workshops to further their skill set and grow their knowledge in the sport. 

Our primary focus and goal at Belle Wood are to create a strong team culture amongst all our clients and team.

Programming at Belle Wood;

• Group, Semi and Private Lessons for first-time riders to advanced
• Showing at the Schooling and Silver level in Ontario
• March “Showcation'" in Ocala, Florida, with our partners Grace Waynura & Renee Connors
• Clinics for rider growth and development
• Camp Programs for beginners, show boot camp for show riders, Ontario Equestrian Rider Level workshops, and so much more!
• Flex Lessons for working professionals

*Note, our group lessons are MAXIMUM 5 students*

For students with previous riding experience, an assessment lesson is required for proper placement in a group lesson setting. Assessments are $75.00 plus HST and are 30 minutes private.

Our Lessons Program offers lessons on the following evenings starting at 5:00, with the last lesson ending at 9:00 pm, except for Wednesdays and Thursdays with Sherri.

We offer lessons Tuesday and Friday mornings and Dressage lessons with Beth Murray Wednesday mornings. Beth Murray also frequents the facility for Clinics on Sundays once a month, depending on schedule. 

On Saturdays, Belle Wood offers a complete lesson program from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, hosting a variety of levels with Sherri Katz. Please note we do not offer private lessons on Saturdays.

30-minute Privates: $425.00

1-hour privates: $525.00 

Flex Group: $350.00

Flex Privates: $475-575.00

Belle Wood offers a 5% Family Discount for families with two or more children riding in our programming.

Belle Wood does offer make-up lessons monthly; we charge a $25.00 re-scheduling fee.
