Bonjour Quebec! 10-days of Tall ship sailing! (LIMITED SPACE)

You start and end your epic summer sailing adventure in Canada's most magical historic city. A Treasured UNESCO World Heritage Site Old Québec will delight and amaze you. It is the cradle of French America and the only fortified city on the continent north of Mexico. You will have a chance to stroll through the cobblestone streets and soak in the city's magnificent heritage, storied past, and European charm.  

​Continuing past Quebec City and Ile de Orléans, you will have a "whale of a time" sailing in the Saguenay Fjord National Park, where if you're lucky, you can hear the beluga whales singing!

Watch whales and learn about the fascinating mammals and their habitat. Maybe we can even spot the unicorn of the sea? The Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park is recognized as one of the best places in the world for whale watching. In addition, we will have a chance to hike some of the spectacular trails, learn to sea kayak, visit the Marine Environment Discovery Centre, and so much more! Truly an extraordinary and magnificent experience. 

​This voyage does not include a high school credit or transportation to and from the departure points. 

ABOUT US

Experience a unique sail training experience with an exciting tall ship adventure! Tall Ships Adventure is one of Canada’s top non-profit sail training organizations.  We offer youth ages 12-18 the opportunity to sail aboard tall ships Fair Jeanne and Black Jack.  Stepping aboard as trainees, youth learn to operate the ships alongside the crew, truly becoming crew themselves. They take the helm, learn to chart a course, haul lines, climb aloft to furl sails, and complete activities around the galley and ship maintenance.  They will increase self-confidence and resilience.  Working as a team to overcome real-life challenges. While the primary focus is learning to sail a tall ship, we have cool and interactive activities held online and in-class to learn about navigation, engine room operations, cooking, and more!

Tall Ships Adventures changes lives, builds leadership skills and creates opportunities for young people to develop self-reliance through the medium of sailing.  For more than 30 years, we have been an organization for youth, run by youth. With the right support, determination, practice, and resolve, we believe that young people can achieve the loftiest of goals and the highest of responsibilities, regardless of age. We create opportunities to challenge young people to stretch their  belief in what they can achieve, and overcome.
