Leaders-In-Training (ages 18-24)

In this exciting program young adult participants (18-24 years) will move beyond being campers and work towards gaining confidence in a variety of settings. 

The  LIT program helps young adults to develop their leadership skills through group learning sessions, mentorship opportunities, and the development and execution of a fundraising and awareness building final project. Funds generated from the final project will go towards subsidizing the cost of the program for each participant.

Throughout this 9-week hybrid program (a combination of online and in-person) LIT’s will have the opportunity to gain confidence as a leader; share their experiences and learn from others; develop and practice skills such as advocacy, conflict resolution, and project management, as well as a host of other hard and soft skills.

Along with gaining skills for being a leader in the community, participants will get to enjoy their favourite camp activities while in-person at Cedar Ridge Camp from June 25 to July 1, 2023.
