*Participants are encouraged to have video camera and microphone on for the duration of the interactive workshop.

Note:  the level of cooking experience will vary among participants and children are expected to work at their own pace. While this is a beginner cooking camp, parents should be in close proximity during each session.  For those who will be cooking for the first time, 1 adult is expected to be present throughout each session.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Independence: this cooking camp will develop a sense of independence as children are expected to freely ask questions throughout each session, to pay keen attention to instructions (active listening) and to work independently while being observed by the cooking instructor.
  • Responsibility: Children will become more acutely aware of the level of responsibility they have in the kitchen when preparing meals - safe food preparation, equipment handling and maintaining a clean and organized work station. Also, paying attention to details (i.e. ingredient measurements).
