Youth's Fashion Design (11+)

Our program teaches fashion design in a personalized setting. At CCSA, we begin with the fundamentals of fashion design, sewing, patterndrafting, and how to develop ideas from start to finish. We emphasize communicative and peer assessment, as well 1-on-1 critique, providing both settings to enhance our student's experience in a fashion environment. With the older group, we delve deeper into topics of fashion and art history, fashion illustration, and trends. We engage in more advanced designing, sewing, and patterndrafting techniques, entailing  what it means to be in the fashion industry. Materials used for the class will vary from fabrics, jewellery, threads, buttons, and zippers.
