This program is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Interpersonal skills: Students are given the opportunity to work together and learn from each other in a contemporary learning environment.
  • Creativity: These CCSA series of classes encourage the development of a creative skill set that has broad application in everyday life. Classes are led by practicing artists and the school provides a safe environment for children to experience the personal satisfaction that derives from guided self-expression.

This photography class helps our teens to get familiar with the key concepts in photography, such as image development, how to see like a professional photographer, visual culture, visual citizenship, composition, photo critique, behaviors of light, transparent and opaque objects, etc. Moreover, students have an opportunity to practice the key photography techniques they learn from their teacher in this class.
