This program is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Creativity: Through the creation of an original performance, participants develop their creative potential and explore diverse modes of artistic expression. participants are challenged to discover innovative and imaginative ways to respond to the world around them.
  • Interpersonal skills: Rooted in the spirit of co-creation, participants strengthen and develop their communication, teamwork and collaborative skills. Throughout the program, participants are given the autonomy to take on new challenges and support each other's learning and discovery within the creative process.

The COC, in partnership with Evergreen Brickworks, will present a collaborative performance based on the themes of nature, environmental stewardship and the relationships between humans, animals and planet earth. Our hope is to build relationships with various partners in East York, to later on invite participating partners for a special COC mainstage performance of an upcoming production set for the 2024 season. Come and join us as we create and sing a collaborative performance with members of the COC Orchestra!
