This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Independence: Campers are guided by counsellors who help them safely explore and try new activities, while giving them plenty of opportunities to make decisions for themselves and the group.
  • Curiosity: Campers learn about the natural world through play, exploration, and letting their interests guide their session.

Give your child the opportunity to make the 400 acres of Claremont Nature Centre their home for a week! Let the forest, stream, and meadow become their backyard, and let their interests and passions guide the day as they learn new skills and take part in traditional camp activities. They will build community, connect with the land, and adventure away in this immersive overnight camp!

Our camps focus on the individual while helping develop a deep connection with nature and prioritizing skill-based learning.
