SPFX Makeup Summer Camp

The SPFX Makeup Summer Camp is a one week intensive workshop for teenagers aged 14 to 18 years old who are inspired by the unique physical appearances of characters in movies and television series. It is based on varying looks of special effects makeup, from the smallest bruise to the ugliest scar. Teens who participate in the SPFX Makeup Camp will learn everything from basic to advanced techniques of some of the most classic and vital special effects makeup looks of the entertainment industry. 

Upon successfully completing the SPFX Makeup Summer Camp, teens will be able to

1. Create bruises and abrasions on varying skin surfaces.
2. Design and apply life-like lacerations and incisions.
3. Gain foundational knowledge of realistic scars, first to third degree burns and first stages of Zombie Makeup.
4. Gain an introductory understanding of the world of professional makeup artistry in the entertainment industry.
