This program is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Interpersonal skills: Learning debate fosters independent thinking and an ability to take multiple points of view into consideration and maintain an independent point of view.
  • Curiosity: Intellectual curiosity also a function of debate. One is always asking questions of what is before them / what is presented in an attempt to check the foundations of certain assumptions and what one hears.

Our Debate Clubs Program focuses on Public Speaking and Parliamentary debate. We have multilevel instruction for students between ages 10-16 with a teaching ratio of 1:8. Traditional camp activities are included along with our debate workshops and debate rounds with feedback.
