Through active outdoor play with an emphasis on inquiry-based discovery, our Nature Nut Outdoor Club program engages young explorers (ages 5-12) in active, creative, and meaningful play and inquiry within a safe and inclusive setting!
By nurturing their growing sense of self, this program fosters creative expression in all forms through activities and outdoor challenges such as fort building, animal tracking, fire programming, winter arts & crafts and more. Activities are designed to cultivate local ecological literacy through lived experience and to support a culture of gratitude and nature connection with a focus on wellness and wandering.
Participants can expect to run, jump, hide, seek, balance and roll! Our staff work with children to build confidence and support them in taking healthy risks, while cultivating authentic relationships and connections to create a sense of belonging among and between children and the natural world around them.
