Engaging financial literacy class that my 13 and 11 year olds took over the summer. The instructor asked them practical and relevant questions about the cost of our day to day expenses (food, electricity, mortgage, etc) and encouraged the kids to dialogue with the family. My son has taken online Coding and Chess classes with Extra Ed, and I cannot be more impressed! After being home and struggling to keep my son engaged, the classes provided the enrichment, routine, and fun that he needed. I love that these educational classes not only challenge my son with exciting projects and skills, but also help with developing his social skills with peers. What initially appealed to me was the daily class offerings at reasonable rates (I wanted something daily so that it could bring back a well-needed sense of routine). Beyond that, I have been impressed by the knowledge, skills, and patience of the Extra Ed team. I even gifted my cousin’s daughter (who lives abroad) a couple weeks of Coding classes so that my son and his cousin could share in classes together. They had a blast! My 9 year old son recently participated in a 1:1 Zoom class teaching him how to solve the Rubik’s cube. He really loved the instructor and was successful at learning to solve the cube which gave him a huge amount of confidence. ExtraEd were very flexible and accommodating in developing this class to suit his needs. A few years prior, my son had participated in an extra curricular chess club offered at his school by ExtraEd.
