Project #1: The Dragon Realm - An Epic 3 day Edventure
Three beautiful kingdoms make this a lesson sure to engage all as we gamify literacy with collaborative storytelling and problem-solving.
The kingdom of Swampton has been raided and lost its most valuable heirlooms. Students will gather in the Swampton castle and hear the narrative of the two other kingdoms who have come and taken what is now theirs.
Students will show empathy and critical thinking as they formulate a plan of action to solve Swampton's problem and deal with the raiding kingdoms of Stonehaven and Skrimville.
Students will deal with barriers including Monsters as they search the three kingdoms for 12 dragon heads and 12 skulls of heroic kings and will mine and return the 12 dragon heads and 12 skulls of heroic kings back to the Swampton throne room.
During the 90 minutes lessons, students will photograph and write about their journey culminating in a finished book for all.

Writing will play a huge part in these two games in Minecraft: Education Edition.
