This program is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Creativity: Students gain the tools to express themselves and explore new ideas through clay.
  • Curiosity: Students are encouraged to develop a passion for making and the arts, as well as being given the opportunity to engage with histories and cultures from around the world through the museum's collection.

Discover the wonders of working with clay! In this Saturday morning pottery course, kids will explore hand-building methods such as sculpting, slab building, and coiling, as well as surface decoration and glazing techniques. Students are encouraged to express their creativity under the guidance of a professional artist educator in a fun and inclusive environment.
