Chess Girls Course 2

For this course, students must know how to checkmate, open their game, and identify attacks and defences. In Course 2, girls learn tactics and combinations needed to enter tournaments.

Course Prerequisites: Before taking Course 2, students should complete Course 1 or have equivalent experience.

We use the chessboard to teach girls about life, showing how the lessons learned in chess transfer to real-life situations. In addition, we teach every girl to be confident, resilient and determined, ready to take on the world of tomorrow! We help girls understand what they’re up against, and we teach them everything they need to thrive, own their power and bring down the systems that attempt to undermine them.
