5 years and up is the best age to develop interest towards STEM. According to the U. S. Department of Commerce, STEM occupations are growing at 17%, while other occupations are growing at 9.8%. STEM degree holders have a higher income even in non-STEM careers. STEM education creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy, and enables the next generation of innovators. Innovation leads to new products and processes that sustain our economy. This innovation and science literacy depends on a solid knowledge base in the STEM areas. It is clear that most jobs of the future will require a basic understanding of math and science.
Institute of Canadian education offers variety of STEM programs. Like after school programs, weekend programs, PA/ PD program and summer/ winter/ March break camp programs. However, the course wise content of all the programs remain the same but the weekly number of workshops or workshop lengths may vary.
We offer 25+ STEM based courses from age group starting 5 years and up. Usually each course is consist of 8 levels. Each level is 120 mins. During each level every individual gets hands on experience with all the science, technology, engineering and math based topics. They build, test and program autonomous robots/ circuits. To keep a track of learning experience and evaluate it we offer take home worksheets at the end of each level which are marked and discussed during the next class. In addition, each student is evaluated for every course by a final exam at the end of the course.
