This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Curiosity: Baking is a science and our classes are jam-packed with information that will encourage kids to keep on baking and be interested in exploring and learning more about the culinary arts.
  • Independence: In our camps we encourage kids to give it a go! With our guidance kids learn that they are can create wonderful things when given the opportunity and our guiding hand gives them the support they need to complete task successfully.

Cupcake baking and decorating summer camp.

Learning to cook and bake is such an important life skill and leads to a healthier life – but most importantly our baking camp is fun too! Our camps are a great place to experience the excitement of baking and creating baked goods without artificial ingredients and preservatives. Because we make everything from scratch, kids must be old enough to follow instructions independently. This camp is suitable for children age 8 and up.

During this camp session we will be focusing on baking and decorating cupcakes with buttercream and fondant. Students will take what they have made home at the end of the camp session.

We foster a friendly and non-competitive environment – sign up with a friend or come and meet new people!

What our week looks like:

Monday: Learn how to make cupcake batter and bake cupcakes

Tuesday: Make buttercream and learn how to make frosting and make decorations for cupcakes
