About this Day Camp

This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Self-regulation: Irish dance is rooted in rhythm, which is essential to self-regulation. Strong rhythm helps us manage how we act on certain emotions as well as how we experience emotions.
  • Physicality: Irish dancing is physical and fun. Rooted in rhythm, campers will come away tapping their feet and moving their bodies!

Come feel an arctic blast as we cool off during the summer heat!  Campers will experience a full day of adaptive Irish dancing, music, crafts, and games. Every day includes developmentally oriented activities - designed for fun on purpose.  In the afternoons, campers will enjoy craft sessions and music lessons where they will learn to play the wooden spoons, which they will get to take home at the end of the week!
