This five-day enrichment program will introduce students to the process of scientific research, helping them understand how scientific knowledge is generated. With a focus on multi-disciplinary "Health in Society", students will explore scientific methods to examine the physical, psychological and social dimensions of human health and wellbeing. This program will help prepare students to become involved with research when they reach university. Students will spend their mornings with a professor from the Faculty of Health at York University honing their research skills. In the afternoons, students will have opportunities for community service and other activities to provide some camp-like fun. The overnight program is rounded out by evening programming at our waterfront and on our beautiful rural campus.
