Colour Lab ArtVenture Summer Camp

Inspired by viewing of the Impressionism on the St. Lawrence exhibition, this session will explore the artists’ fascination with science behind the light and their never-ending experimentations with colour. The studio activities will introduce campers to various colour schemes and importance of colour hues, values, and saturation and help them to understand the expressive power of colour. To enhance this learning, the campers will hear from the McMichael’s exhibition installation expert about the art of gallery lightning that allows visitors to enjoy original colours and textures of artworks.
