David Hwang beat the IELTS due to his hard work, dedication, and persistence. His first test band score was 4 overall, but at the end of his program he scored 6.5 overall!
R-L Teacher Kaitlyn and David - David returned to LIT to personally thank his teacher after his IELTS test result came back with a band score of 6.5!
What did you like the most about your class?
"Everything was perfect! To be specific, the speaking part was really great because when I say something that was not correct, Kaitlyn would always say ‘s-t-o-p’. Then, she gives me time to change the word/structure. It was really fun!
I really like the class. It’s perfect, every time! To be specific, when I have some problems, Kaitlyn always gives me good advice."
What was your favourite moment?
"My favourite moment was doing the test! When I did the test, I felt excited and exhilarated."
Were you able to achieve the goals you initially set?
"I was able to achieve that I initially set. First of all, I had a lot of goals before I came here.
Fortunately, I reached all my goals and I’m really happy now."
What do you think your biggest achievement is?
"Before I came here, I couldn’t speak English very well. Also, I was also really shy when I said something in English but now I’m really confident in myself and when I go anywhere, I can speak English really well. So this is really good for me."
How would you explain your overall experience at LIT?
"I appreciate Kaitlyn a lot! She is the best person I have met in Canada. Thank you for taking care of me. I can’t describe how thankful I am towards you. Also, during my stay here, I have good memories."
LIT Education is a language academy located in midtown Toronto. It is a specialized school aimed to take students to a higher level of learning. Classes are taught in small classes with teachers who are highly qualified with years of experience.
