Forgiveness is about virtue, about showing compassion to those who have wronged us, even if they don't "deserve" it. It isn't about trying to make excuses for the offender's behaviour or pretending it didn't happen. There is also no simple method to follow. Forgiveness is a multi-step process that frequently takes a non-linear path. Working on forgiveness may boost our self-esteem and provide us with a sense of inner strength and security. It can undo the lies we tell ourselves after someone has profoundly injured us, such as "I am humiliated" or "I am unworthy." Forgiveness may help us heal and
move on with meaning and purpose in our lives. Through forgiveness, more than helping another person, it is most beneficial for yourself. Forgiveness is most beneficial for self-clarity and tranquillity. By forgiving, you are mostly benefiting yourself. So, the next time someone is asking for your forgiveness, think about the mental calmness you will receive.
At IDare2Bee, we believe that you can be the change to make the world a better place. Through practising forgiveness, this allows for a more open-minded perspective, which is so important. We are creating a future that is peaceful for all people, respectful towards all beings and a world where kindness is something as common as the air we breathe.
P.S. Our founders @audrey.hlembizky and @alanna.carr__ are excited to share the campaign with you. So, feel free to share your experiences as they want to hear!
