As we are still in the midst of COVID-19 Specific Protocols, Ridley College will strive to offer the following precautions to ensure the health and safety of our participants and staff members and communicate updates and advancements as we are made aware:
Screening protocols for participants and staff daily, upon arrival. *A temperature of 38C (100F) and above will NOT be permitted to enter camp. Also, Parents should keep their camper home if their child or someone in the household is experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, and it’s advised they return ONLY if they or the family member has been cleared by a medical professional or the ill member produces a negative Covid-19 test.
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) will be enforced when physical distancing cannot be maintained or is unpredictable. Masks are mandatory for camper that are in Grade 1 and up. Masks are strongly encouraged for campers who are younger (JK/SK). Masks must be worn when indoors at all times and when outdoors, only when 2 metre distancing cannot be maintained or is unpredictable.
Smaller group sizes with maximum capacities of 15 participants per camp, minimal daily interactions with other cohorts, which may include separate designated areas for groups.
Qualified staff who will enforce physical distancing requirements, frequent sanitization and ensure daily safety measures are monitored.
Campers and groups will utilize individual supplies, equipment and activities, where possible.
Incorporate fun and creative physically-distanced sports, games, crafts and activities into our programme curriculums. Hold activities outdoors whenever possible.
Cleaning and sanitization of equipment and high-touch areas will be ongoing and frequent throughout the daily routines.
Signage for mask use, hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene, cohorts and traffic flow to encourage physical distancing measurements of at least two (2) metres.
