P.A. Day & Summer Trampoline Camp Registration is now open!
Summer is nearly upon us and many parents around the Vaughan area are sure to be wondering what, how, where, when to keep their kids healthy and active this summer. Amongst the list after list of activities and Vaughan summer camps advertisements that come on flyers in our mailbox every day you may find the odd interesting camp experience to run by the kids. Usually the list of Vaughan summer camps has same choices year after year. Soccer, baseball, horse back riding, chess camp? The list seems endless.
Why not try something new this year. A unique experience for parents looking for Vaughan summer camps is Airborne’s Summer Trampoline Camp 2016! Since 1994 Airborne Trampoline has offered its trampoline camp for March Break, Summer Holidays, and Winter Break. With nearly 20 years of experience, Airborne has perfected the camp experience for its campers. Airborne ensures that all of its counselors and coaches are Gymnastics Ontario and N.C.C.P. certified, have achieved their First Aid/CPR certificates, and love what they do. The level of dedication required to achieve these goals before becoming a counselor at Airborne Trampoline Camp ensures that all of their staff are committed to giving the campers a exciting and memorable experience.
During a typical day at Airborne’s Trampoline Camp, the campers will jump on Airborne’s 6 Olympic type trampolines for up to 2-3 hours in the morning, followed by even more trampoline time in the afternoon. During their jumping times, Airbornes campers will be coached and instructed by multiple Airborne Trampoline Coaches. They will progress though Airborne’s trampoline skill level system, starting at level 1 and potentially progressing through to level 9+. Each level provides a new set of skills and tricks for the jumpers to learn including the Seat Drop, Stomach Drop, Cradle, Cat Twist and even Front and Back Flips. Sound complicated? Airborne’s coaches are experts in teaching jumpers the progressions leading up to every skill. Once Airborne’s campers pass a level, they will be rewarded with a level badge to take home with them as proof that they’ve achieved their goal of the day. What other Vaughan summer camps can say that?
Airbornes Trampoline Camp isn’t ALL trampolining though. Airborne campers enjoy Arts and Crafts, games, and even Pizza Lunch Fridays. Best of all, Airborne even takes campers on a Trip of the Day! These trips bring the campers on a variety of adventures including Glow in the Dark Mini Golf, Bowling, Movies, Games at the Park, Dave & Busters, and even Canada’s Wonderland. Some activities even visit Airborne for the entertainment of our campers. These include Mad Science scientists who lead Airborne’s campers through fun science activities including making cotton candy, and creating slime. Another fun visitor are the great people at Creepy Crawlers who bring over a variety of weird, fluffy, and scary animals to for the campers to learn about. Its like a petting zoo at Airborne!
With camp hours running from 9am to 5pm (and extended hours available from 8am to 9am and 5pm to 6pm), Airbornes Summer Trampoline Camp will have your kids flying through a memorable summer.
Call, or visit Airborne’s website for more information, and a complete trip schedule detailing the daily trips and outings. Definitely one of the most unique Vaughan summer camps around.
