Planning to visit? Review our Accessibility Notice:

Toronto School of Art is located on the 2nd floor. We regret TSA is not currently wheelchair accessible.

When you arrive at TSA’s entrance at the north side of the building, there are 7 steps into the building. Inside, there are 6 steps with a handrail leading to the flight of stairs to the 2nd floor. The flight of stairs is equipped with handrails and contains: 15 steps, a landing, 6 steps, a landing, 6 steps leading to the TSA hallway entrance. Total: 40 steps.

Please note: there is no onsite parking but folks may be dropped off at the TSA entrance (vehicles may enter via gate off Dufferin St.).

TSA operates on the second floor of the former Kent Senior School – a century-old Toronto District School Board building without an elevator. TSA regrets this barrier to access; this goes against our values of inclusion. TSA and the Values Committee are planning access for all in the future.

Location:

Toronto School of Art is located on the second floor of 980 Dufferin Street, in the former Kent School. It is at the southwest corner of Bloor and Dufferin, just past the basketball court, north entryway. TSA is directly across from the Dufferin TTC station and surrounded by street parking.

By TTC:

Take the Bloor-Danforth subway line (Line 2) to Dufferin Station.

TSA is directly across the street from the Dufferin TTC station, which has an elevator.

By car:

Street parking is available on Bloor to the north (Green P parking), and a number of side streets with free parking around the school. TSA has no parking on its grounds. The small parking lot is reserved for staff at all the independent schools operating out of Kent School.
