This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Creativity: Build your child's creativity with inspirational instructors who provide the starting points in a variety of medias of your child's imagination.
  • Independence: To learn to work independently with art supplies and the creative process taught by instructors to help imagination come to life.

Students will learn the foundations of fabrication and joining methods including soldering and cold connection such as rivets, as well as sawing, piercing, forging, filing, and finishing. They will also explore resin, polymer clay, coloration of surface, and stamping. The instructor will guide each individual in designing their projects based on expressive intentions, and personal meaning. Students will create one sterling silver spinner ring, as well as pendants, earrings, and bangles using the copper and brass provided.
