Are you looking for an exciting March Break adventure?
Make the most of the snowy season with a classic experience in Algonquin Park’s winter wonderland. Our popular and iconic winter snowshoeing expedition, complete with quiet snow trails and warm prospector tents, will leave you with magical memories you won’t soon forget!
AREA & ACTIVITIES
Get in touch with your roots and challenge your limits while learning one of the most long-standing wilderness traditions – snowshoeing and winter camping – on ancient trails that early settlers once travelled and Indigenous communities have used since time immemorial.
Your adventure begins when you meet your group near Minden, Ontario. From there, you will travel to the trailhead within the traditional territory of the Omàmìwininìwag and Anishinabewaki Peoples. The trails will guide you through snow-covered trees and circle frozen lakes. At night, after a day filled with activity, you will put down your snowshoes, settle into your tent and be warmed by the heat of a wood-burning stove.
