Junior Global Citizen

Park Street's Global Citizen course is designed to introduce students in grades 4 to 8 to the concepts of global citizenship and cultural awareness, and to impart an understanding of world events. Through a combination of interactive activities, discussions, readings, and projects, students will develop a broader perspective on the world, its diverse cultures, and the interconnectedness of global events. The course aims to foster empathy, critical thinking, and active engagement in global issues. From exploring the ramifications of the Chernobyl disaster to charting the history of LGBTQ+ rights, this course will enable kids to engage with the world in which they live in a new way.
