This camp is designed to build the following character traits:
Creativity: Making of Bluetooth SmartCar helps in the development of computational skills as well as problem-solving skills, hence develops creativity.
Curiosity: Aside from developing crucial problem-solving skills, bluetooth SmartCar can also be an excellent activity for your Kid in stimulating logic and a curious mind. 😃
ABOUT THE CAMP
Camps run from 9:00am-4:00pm (extra care available)
Maximum 8 students per camp
Each student given a dedicated computer station and equipment
75% of day working on camp project, 25% on activities & DIY crafts (including drone flying at a nearby park!)
An ADVANCED ROBOTICS CAMP recommended for students who have text-based programming experience. Build your own SmartCar and program it to be controlled by your mobile device via Bluetooth! Campers will first design, laser-cut and assemble the car's parts then proceed to design 3D-printed attachments. This camp will teach advanced electronics circuit and Arduino programming and have students participate in a series of robotics competitions.
At the end of the camp week, students will either take home the project they built or the code/game they created over the camp period. They are given optional tasks to better enhance their project at home after camp completion. Most students who complete a camp week have a good understanding of the STEM concepts and have found an interest in a subject.
