After School and Weekend Programs for the 2021 school year! 

Monday: Cutting Edge Chefs (Ages 7+); 8 Week Course: Start date: Jan. 11 > End date: Mar. 1, 2021). In Cutting Edge Chefs, your child will become increasingly more confident and skilled in knife work by safely slicing and dicing their way through 8 delicious weeks. Through daily demonstrations, hands-on practice, and corrective guidance from our chef instructors, your child will learn foundational knife cuts such as slicing, dicing, chopping and mincing, as well as, an invaluable education of the nutritional significance of each dish. Menu Sneak Peek: Lime Salted Baked Tortilla Chips with Salsa and Guacamole | Chilli Fries with Homemade Chipotle Aioli and Superfood Broccoli Salad. YUM!

Character Development:

  • Independence: Children will learn different cooking skills and recipes, and how to safely navigate a kitchen. Our chef instructors know the benefits of learning to cook and are extremely passionate about sharing their knowledge so children can feel confident and gain independence in their kitchen at home.
  • Responsibility: Learning to cook and helping in the kitchen at home helps children learn about responsibility. Being part of the family unit by contributing to the meal prep is important for children to feel connected and they can also enjoy a healthy home-cooked meal.
