This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Independence: Our whole program is designed for our campers to discover more about themselves and grow in confidence. Each day we start with a character trait of the day and our counsellors look for teachable moments throughout the day. Our motto is "teaching life through sport" and independence is key!
  • Generosity: Each summer our campers are invited to raise funds to help send orphans to camp in Romania. This is our way of teaching our campers about those less fortunate in a child friendly way and that they can do something about it!

Rouge Camps (Markham) is a teacher owned day camp, providing campers, ages 4-15, from Markham and the surrounding areas with weeks filled with fun, sport instruction, engaging activities and lifelong memories.  Rouge Camps (Markham) typically operates out of Middlefield CI near Markham Rd. & 14th Ave.  We teach life through sport and our programs are for athletes and non-athletes alike.  Find out why we were rated 9/10+ every year!
