Royal Canadian Yacht Club  []

RCYC offers this well-rounded program to give the participants an opportunity to explore all the FUN aspects of sailing that the Club has to offer. The main objective of this program is to emphasize sailing as a lifelong sport. Sessions will be spent sailing an arrangement of different boats (see below), with an emphasis on learning as many different techniques and skills within the sport of sailing. With three to five hours of on water sailing each day, participants will get a chance to take on different positions such as helming, trimming, trapezing, navigating, just to name a few. Practical lessons on land will consist of learning to tie knots, weather theory, health and fitness, and both sailboat racing and recreational trip planning.RCYC offers this well-rounded program to give the participants an opportunity to explore all the FUN aspects of sailing that the Club has to offer.
