Grade 7 to 8 (Ages 13-14) Mississauga

Our program for children in grades 7 and 8 begins with an extensive review of all topics that have been learned in grades 4, 5  and 6. The newly added supplemental modules include review booklets of previous concepts, topical tests to test current knowledge and exam practice tests to solidify their understanding of key topics. When previous topics are mastered, a separate module laying the foundation for the understanding of beginner one variable algebra is taught. Other topics revisited where higher levels of understanding is required are fractions, percentage, ratio, speed/distance/time, Angles in Geometric shapes. And volume of Cubes and Cuboids. For students who are advanced, we quickly introduce them to highly complex problem solving including 2 variable algebraic problems. Problem solving can be daunting for a child. Our goal at S.A.M Singapore Math Learning Centre is to teach your child the required skills in logic and critical thinking that are needed to solve complex problems.
