Intro to 2D Game Design with GDevelop

You want to learn game development but don’t know how to get started? Or you’ve tried some tutorials already, but you don’t feel like you understand how the engine works or how to code your games?

GDevelop is a free, open-source, and cross-platform game creation tool that anyone can use to create games without programming skills.

In this course, you will:

• Develop a 2D Game
• Learn the fundamentals of Godot by completing video game projects
• Learn how to publish games to multiple platforms including, mobile, Facebook, and various gaming websites

Course Requirements:

• Headphones to listen to instructions
• Some experience with block-based coding will be helpful.

This course is one of our premier Tech Camp experiences, infused with hands-on, project-based learning, designed to equip students with 21st-century technology skills. Students will use professional software and tools as they learn the skills that they need to turn their passion into a profession.
