English Language Summer Camp

Girls entering grades 7 to 11 will spend between two and four weeks on our breathtaking 22-acre campus located in Victoria, British Columbia, to learn and improve their English. Students will stay in our cozy boarding facilities, eat healthy and delicious meals in our grand dining hall, and explore the safe and beautiful City of Victoria. For two to four weeks, students will be immersed in an English environment in which they will work towards increased English language proficiency. Mornings will be spent developing oral and written skills, vocabulary acquisition and strategies for reading comprehension through exposure to print, digital and media resources, including music and film.

ACTIVITIES To get the most out of their English Language Summer Camp experience, we plan lots of great activities in the afternoon for students to enjoy. Final afternoon activities will be available closer to program start dates. Possible activities include: Tennis Badminton Volleyball Mini Golf Yoga Culinary Club Paint Night Board Games Bike club Run Club Art Club Bowling Kayak Beacon Hill Park Royal BC Museum Fisherman’s Wharf.

DAY TRIPS In addition to afternoon activities, students will have the opportunity to spend entire days sightseeing and discovering all the beauty and history Victoria has to offer. A final list of day trips will be available closer to program start dates. Possible day trips include: Sooke Park Witty’s Lagoon Brentwood Bay Butchart Gardens Willow’s Beach Goldstream Park.

BOARDING EXPERIENCE Students experience living on campus and making friends with students from all over the world. Each double room has an ensuite bathroom and plenty of storage. Participants will enjoy three tasty, nutritious meals daily, plus snacks in the dining hall. Our 22-acre green campus is in a safe and secure residential area, just minutes from downtown Victoria.
