The Blue Marble Academy - Magical Plants & Potions Summer Camp -Week 4

This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Independence: Collecting nature items from the forest and creating artistic pieces with natural materials provides the campers with a sense of independence in shaping their individual expressions as well as understanding how plants support their wellbeing.
  • Curiosity: Campers will have a deeper sense of the natural world around them both locally and globally that will foster a sense of curiosity that they will carry with them well beyond this week.

Have plant-y of fun that you won't want to leaf!

Monday's theme is 'Planting Magic': Get your hands dirty and your wands ready to learn about the magic of gardening with seeds of your own and spells to speak

Tuesday's theme is 'Talisman Treasure': Join us for a forest scavenger hunt as we explore local ecology and collect nature items to create your very own talisman

Wednesday's theme is 'Enchanting Potions': Investigate the chemistry of potion making as we mix and match different ingredients to make one of a kind enchantments

Thursday's theme is 'Sprouts & Spells': Innovation and creativity are key as we make eco-crafts and spells with seed bombs, sun catchers and flower art that will cast good fortune

Friday's theme is 'Brew & Boil': Dress up as a magical creature for this special day of tea making. Create your own tea complete with naming it and designing the packet to bring home

Sign up siblings for 1-2 weeks and the second sibling is $350 per week- if you sign up siblings for 3+ weeks contact us for further discounts!

PERKS

Parent's receive a secure webpage to see photos and videos of everyone in action with daily updates (where we have permissions)

Students will take home finished projects and activity books which are completed in camp to share what they've been working on during the week

A mix of indoor and outdoor activities in our yard and near parks/trails

A free camp t-shirt with our animal of the year
