Competitive Program

Join a full Competitive Program for swimmers aged 6 to 18 years of age. Teams compete primarily at the provincial level, usually participating in 4-6 meets per year. Athletes train 3-5 times per week and get the benefit of team bonding, the best coaching, and the chance to challenge themselves. 

The TASC Competitive Program is made up of several teams of different ages, each with 6-10 swimmers. Prices, practice locations, dates and times vary by team. 

Competitive swimmers can expect to practice at a variety of pools including the University of Toronto, the Pan Am Aquatic Centre, the Pam McConnell Aquatic Centre, and Toronto Metropolitan University. 

10 & Under (born in 2013 or later)

• 2x-2.5x weekly, 5-8 hours per week
• $2600-3100

11-12 (born in 2011 or 2012)

• 3x weekly, 8-9 hours per week
• $3000-3500

13-15 Provincial (born in 2010, 2009 or 2008)

• 3x weekly, 9-11 hours per week, depending on team placement
• $3200-3700

Over 16 (Junior) (born in 2007 or earlier)

• 3-4x weekly, 10-12 hours per week, depending on team placement
• $3700-4200

13-15 or Junior National (if offering)

• 4x weekly, 15+ hours per week
• $5600-6100

Extra Routines (all ages)

• 1-2 hours weekly on top of team training
• $500-2000

Learn how to set and work towards goals, prepare mentally for performances and manage nerves.

Artistic Swimming Excellence

Learn advanced synchro skills and improve synchro techniques through figures and routine development.

Athletic Foundation

Improve strength, endurance, and flexibility. Build an athletic foundation that is transferable to any activity and sport.

Competitive families at TASC take an active part in helping to run the club through volunteer activities. The camaraderie among swimmers and families is fundamental to the experience of the competitive stream, and athletes make friends for life in this program. 

At the beginning of every season, a detailed information session is held for parents whose kids are new to the program. New families will be fully equipped with everything they need for the year ahead.
