This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Resilience: Working and living in close quarters in all weather conditions is a unique experience. Our crew develop resilience as they work to overcome the challenges of life onboard.
  • Interpersonal skills: All hands on deck! Sailing a tall ship on the Great Lakes requires coordination and communication.

The Georgian Bay Express Course is the perfect opportunity to come aboard and get a taste of tall ship sailing in Georgian Bay! Spend a night at sea, learn the ropes and meet new friends on the waters of Georgian Bay. If you love it, book on board one of our longer courses (space allowing). 

As a Trainee, no previous experience is required- the youth officers of TS Playfair will teach you everything you need to know.
