This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Interpersonal skills: The process of breaking down problems into communicable parts is a skill that translates to interactions with people, too. When communicating with computers through coding, kids must first carefully consider what needs to be expressed, brainstorm the clearest way to say it, then carefully execute it

Using tkinter and Object Oriented Programming, students will learn to write real code for their own game – designed and developed by them. While learning to develop their games, students will learn the basics of programming – creating loops, conditional structures, variables etc.At the end of the week, students will take home all of their games and code projects with them.
