Computer Programming for Beginners

UTG Academy has 6 levels of introductory Python coding, where students create a coding project on Pixelpad. Students will meet once a week to learn fundamental coding skills and apply them to their project across 15 lessons. UTG courses focus on learning the underlying logic and then apply them to a wide range of situations. Beginner levels will focus on manipulating code and as students progress, they will create more and more pseudocode and begin to translate their own pseudocode into the actual code necessary for a functioning application.
