Junzi - Duke of Edinburgh Introduction and much more..!

Participants will be introduced to the Duke of Edinburgh Program. The Duke of Edinburgh is an international award with the goal of empowering youth to learn and grow through experience, particularly in the outdoors. The participants will select the Duke of Edinburgh award level they wish to seek and will make a plan in order to achieve this goal. The participants will create a SMART plan (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-Bound) in order to achieve success in the Duke of Edinburgh Program.

The Participants will visit UBC to learn about the importance of Remembrance Day.

The group will also learn about food safety- including safe handling and preparation techniques- and at the end of the program they will get a food safety certification.
