Early Bird rate (2,330$) available until December 15th.

Offered to all ages at Wilvaken, this session may be an introductory period to new activities, or a chance to focus on and develop a few specific skills. Every four days, campers choose 2-3 instructional activities to have a base of knowledge and challenge themselves to improve. Afternoons are a time for free choice, where campers are independent by creating their own schedule. Community living allows to develop interpersonal skills and lifelong friendships. Campers will also have the opportunity to go on an overnight camping trip, and possibly a hiking or canoe trip in one of the nearby national parks!

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Independence: We see campers make independent choices on a daily basis, starting with their own activities. They have the opportunity to break away from their group. This allows them to make independent decisions where campers can decide what they want to do, and justify their actions.
  • Resilience: Trying something new that is difficult and presents challenge takes resilience. On a daily basis, our campers try new skills, take on challenges, and sometimes experience failure. It's through this failure that they can then succeed.
