Camp Otonabee is excited to offer an overnight camp program for campers looking to have a traditional experience. Campers will participate in an exciting outdoor camp experience where they will share a cabin with other campers and their counsellors with 24-hour supervision. Campers are split into four different cabin groups; junior boys (8-11years), junior girls (8-11years), senior boys (12-14years) and senior girls (12-14years). Campers will participate in some camp activities with their cabin group and have some personal choice activities where they can interact with campers from other cabin groups as well. All campers share in evening camp fires, go on night hikes and experience a traditional overnight camp experience. Sessions see campers arrive on Monday morning and leave Friday at the end of the camp day; overnight campers are welcome to take the Otonabee buses that depart from various locations throughout the city of Ottawa, or may opt to be driven to and from camp on the first and last day. The bus schedule is available at ymcaywca.ca. Please note: this program is only offered on specific weeks of the summer and space is limited, so register early to avoid disappointment. A full list of what to bring to camp as well as more information about the program can be found in our Overnight Camping Parent and Camper information guide on our website.
