This program is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Self-regulation: Conscientiousness, discipline, and self-control. The ability to regulate emotions and behavior. Organization and executive functioning skills.
  • Independence: Ability and willingness to do things on one’s own. Self-initiative, self-motivation, self-care. Decisiveness.

Students will design and build apps by applying design principles, app layout, styling and interaction design. Our curriculum uses an intuitive, visual programming environment that allows students to build simple apps for smartphones and tablets which can be shared with friends and family.
