This program is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Independence: Students learn to design and build robots by themselves independently. As they program the robot, students resolve issues, troubleshoot and complete their assigned challenge.
  • Resilience: Getting an autonomous robot to work consistently and reliably is a challenge. Students learn to be patient and analytical as they troubleshoot issues. Over a period of time, they gain confidence and persevere.

Students learn to design and build robots. Elementary and lower middle school students build robots and mechanical attachments from scratch and program controls through block-based programming. Upper middle school and high school  students program using text-based coding languages such as Python. After this course, students may be eligible to join our competition teams appropriate for their age.
