    ROTHERGLEN SCHOOL - OAKVILLE

    Rotherglen School was founded in 1979 by Marie Laningan at the Erin Mills campus. The school has grown in the intervening years to include four locations, all of which share the same approach. Were all the students housed at one campus, Rotherglen would be one of the largest independent schools in the area, home to 1000 students annually. The various locations, however, afford a unique sense of community within each, with small class sizes, and a close-knit feel. While aesthetics don’t mean everything, they nevertheless do mean something, and the school is physically beautiful, with dedicated, consistent learning spaces.

In Casa (JK/SK) and our Primary program (Grade 1 to 3), our students develop independence and experience the joy of personal discovery through Montessori methods. Our small classes and low teacher-to-student ratios enable our experienced and qualified Montessori teachers to know your children as individuals and to build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.     An entrance assessment for students entering Grade 1 is conducted on an informal basis with a school administrator and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Students in Grades 2 through Grade 8 complete a formal written assessment which takes approximately 90 minutes.

    ST. CLEMENT'S SCHOOL

    Applications are completed online. The following is required at the time of application:

    1. A recent photograph of the applicant.
    2. The applicant’s final reports from the previous three years and any reports available for the current year.
    3. A copy of the applicant’s birth certificate or passport.
    4. Educational assessment(s) and IEP(s), if applicable.
    5. The non-refundable application fee of $250, or early bird application fee of $200 until October 31, 2022
