Question and Answers

How do I rank private and independent schools?

Expert Answer

Educational experts tend to agree that trying to rank schools, using whatever parameters, is questionable. It's like comparing apples and oranges. Each school is unique with specific attributes. No universal yardstick exists to measure schools that have evolved independently. Instead, ask yourself how well suited the school is to your child and your family's priorities. A so-called top school may not be the best fit for you.

When considering schools, ask current students and parents about their experience. You can also post a questions in this community, it's open for all visitors to comment on.
