How many schools should my child apply to?
Don't pin all your or your child's hopes on one particular school. Experts recommend applying to more than one school to ensure the greatest likelihood that your child will be able to attend a private or independent school that's a good fit for your family.
Read expert advice on the admissions process and how to get in. There are lots of articles and personal stories available too.

Generally, private schools guarantee similar qualities - ie, small class sizes, top-notch faculty and curriculum, advanced extracurricular activities - so its best not to only go for one when there is probably another one just as good that could be an option. Its obviously okay to have a first choice, but don't make that the only option.
I have a couple questions actually.....we live in the Okanagan , It is difficult to travel that far with a son with a disability and the crowds would cause severe issues . Can you perhaps send me a list of schools that offer Blended / Distance Learning options for a high school First Nations teen with ASD ( Autism Spectrum Disorder) ?? I have no problems going through info from home.... Thanks so much and have a great day! Tina Stepan
