At Pickering College, our students learn to excel academically, to develop character, make friends and prepare for their future.
Our Global Leadership Program strikes the ideal balance between challenging students to develop critical thinking and real-world life skills that can be applied to their university career and beyond. Every student, Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12, benefits from the Global Leadership Program's fully-integrated, enriched programming. Students are taught to deeply consider the global context, and to develop the skills necessary to effectively participate in this context. Creative and innovative decision making drives all programming in academics and activities beyond the classroom. Students learn to take theory to action and to assess the impact of their actions.
Pickering College offers students a wide range of experiential learning opportunities both within and outside the classroom. Our teachers enable each student to develop their intellectual, creative, spiritual and athletic potential within the school community and beyond. With an extensive co-curricular program that includes team sports, figure skating, equestrian, filmmaking, mountain biking, music and broadcast radio at the school's own CRTC-licensed radio station, there's something for everyone.
