Staff and students of JKCS are gearing up for our annual Celebration of Learning evening Thursday, May 11th at 7 pm!
JKCS is committed to equipping our students with the skills they will need to succeed wherever God leads them. Through the principles of Project Based Learning (PBL) we intentionally teach and guide students through an in depth exploration of a real-world problem by answering a driving question. Using 21st century skills of collaboration, creativity, problem solving and digital literacy, students prepare a presentation for an authentic audience. Through this process we show every student how to achieve their best work, using a deliberate method involving peer and teacher feedback, working through multiple drafts, and paying careful attention to detail at every step.
On May 11th they will share the process and projects with us – their authentic audience - and you will be amazed at the level of learning, the excellence of the process, and the incredible end results!
A Christian education is an education for life. At JKCS, our strong academic program, including PBL, will ensure your child is well prepared for the rigours of high school and beyond.
